About the Artist

names are Eghosa Raymond Akenbor. I am a painter/fine art teacher from Nigeria who reside in a cultural and historical town, Benin City in Edo state, Nigeria. Educated in Painting and general art from Auchi Polytechnic Auchi, Edo state, a diploma in micro-biology from the University of Benin, Edo state and a post-graduate in education from the National teacher’s institute, Kaduna.

I am an Experimental Artists, who explore materials, mediums to paint my thought, i believe in Sweet Variety of Hues. I am comfortable with a lot of hues and texture in my paintings, its like Sculpting with Colours. Outside painting on canvas i paint on cloths.

Spectrum Miami 2014, Dec.3rd-7th on under the booth name of: Leda Maria, Show de bola 2014 Brazil, Group exhibition by Altered Aesthetics, 2013 USA, Visual art competition/Exhibition, Theme: “Sharing a common heritage” 2012 sponsored by the Spanish embassy Nigeria.
Eghosa have been selected twice for participation at the first and second International Biennale of Art of Palermo, Italy, 2014 & 2015.
