So fresh from my studio, with my last touch done today. The mixed media painting in dramatic colour with medium in carton, foam, acrylic, canvas and a dimension of 1ft by 4ft. Recycling carton and foam, that is what this Art is all about and an inter-play of colours that is endless.

Students Get Busy with Art.
I don’t really have much to say, i just want to share some beautiful photos of my Visual Art senior secondary school students in action. Trying to observe, draw and paint, representing what they can see. Interpretation at their level of understanding. I am there to make them see a little bit. Lets see more photos…….
I want them to explore one hue- Black. Try to make them understand the shades, values and light, bringing those three things into painting by doing monochrome wash on a cartridge paper.
Watching my students get busy is what visual art is all about, bring the unknown to reality. It give the students a sense of fulfillment- to create and design some thing beautiful.
This is the end.
FEEL! this Colourful Mixed media Painting.
This colourful mixed media painting is untitled, am still thinking about giving it a title. At the beginning all i could think was a sweet slim lady, but after the finishing the thought left. The medium of the painting are cartons, foam, acrylic and canvas, the dimension is 4ft by 1ft.
I always ask myself if i can paint with one hue or limited hues on my canvas. It is going to be difficult. I am obsessed with colour, i see colours as the life of a painting. My dream as an artist is to break out and create new combination of colours, make my art encompassing in dynamic colours and values.
I will get there.
The African Photo Thoughts/Poetry- D’ Tribute.
D’ TRIBUTE
This is to you
You who can
Hold a man’s gaze
You who can
Put a man in felicity or in ructions
With one movement.
You, who with subtlety
Controls man.
You who sets man
On an odyssey of meaningfulness
This is for you.
Spice of life
This is for you
You who can convince even God,
As you did in the very beginning,
To make you the most beautiful,
Of all his creations.
Queen of the earth
This is to you
You who even nature favours,
Complementing your beauty with
Glowing skin and hair,
Enhancing your smile with,
Luscious lips,
So supple, so soft.
A nexus of things unknown.
This is to you,
You whose complexities,
Puzzles philosophers and scientists,
You whose every movement,
Is a mystery to the wise.
You whose jejune look,
Is the greatest deceit.
This is to you.
You who holds love in your hands,
You who is the artist that colours the world,
You who multiplies the earth,
You who is beside every successful man,
You who adds meaning to man’s life.
You who is female,
This is for you.
Photo Thoughts/Poetry- “Sweet Sleep”
SWEET SLEEP
Like a foetus in mother’s womb,
I lay on my bed,
My view transcends the white ceiling above my head,
And I see myself under the dark blue starful skies,
I faintly hear birds chirping,
And frog croaking,
And the vigilante making noise with iron,
Many a breeze run through my window,
Capturing me on the soporific embrace
Ordering me to sigh and stretch,
This short period of night hold no tossing and turning for me,
Hold no nightmares for me,
I awaken to the skies opening their eyes,
Walking the sun to its daily duties,
And putting moon to rest,
I think it’s only a moment ago I have shut my eyes,
I am afresh for another day.
Photo Concept/Poetry- Yours Insincerely
YOURS INSINCERELY
Don’t tell me what you really think,
Tell me what you want me to think,
I know what you mean
From what you didn’t tell me,
For it will soothe me to hear,
Your version of a much more boring truth
Oh really! Indeed! How lovely!
Will my reply be.
My sword of vindication sheathed,
Since you say the rehearsed truth.
But impaled be the one who speaks bluntly
Of the insufferable truth.
I need not anyone to spell the obvious.
My inside are already too noisy.
Know the truth and sell it not
Keep it to yourself and spill it not
We all mask our outside and hope
That the truth will be beyond their ken.
Black Fabric Art.
Painting, Art and Designing on Cloth. Another extension of my canvas, taking my art from the canvas to cloth- making the art a #Mobile_Art. I always enjoy creating my design on a black fabric or cloth because of the outstanding contrast which makes it sweet. And my friends and client are trilled a lot by the #black_fabric_art. The art is a Female long Sleeve Top with #African_Motifs_Patterns_Design.
First Adorable Art in 2015.
My first art in 2015, starting this year with a lovely textured landscape painting, inspired by the art below. The medium for the art are tissue papers, acrylic and canvas. The concept of the art is an expression of fresh colours both in grays.
Art/Painting on the Wall.
Recently, i check through my photo archives and i came across this photos of mural/wall paintings which i did for a primary/nursery school last year in September. I almost forget about these photos, at least to share it with my lovely viewers……….
I did not had time to snap each stages of the art and even myself at work. It was due to the weather at that period, the raining season. I was almost creating the art in a hurry, it was raining every day which made working frustrating and i have to finish the work before school resumption. However, I was able to meet up.
Below are photos of my working space, materials, stencils after finishing the work.
Conceptual African Photography/Poetry- ” Some Others and I”
SOME OTHERS AND I
Some say the sky is the limit.
Others say the limit is beyond the sky,
I say the limit is the ground I am standing on
For I am no farther from my most successful
As my feet is from this ground.
Some count their losses, others, their gains,
I count the stars in the sky,
For I have been promised things in numbers
As numerous as these stars.
When others are cast down
I shall say there is lifting up
For I like in the fulfillment of my words
Words are life and I have both in abundance.
Some live in the hope of the future
Others in the glory of the past
I live in the word, the living word
Where success and I have no difference
And nothing is uncertain.
