Imaginative Settlement IV

This is my last on this series of mixed-media art titled- Imaginative Settlement IV. I end this series with this art with a level of satisfaction, because I have been able to exhaust my imaginations on this concept. The beauty in the process of this creation is that it gave birth to new ideas which evolve into some breathtaking paintings which will be on my subsequent post.
One thing I enjoy the most in the creative process, is the pliability in expression of lines and space. Right from the day I finished the first art on the series- Imaginative Settlement I, it ignite the spirit of freedom in my expression.

Imaginative Settlement III.

An abstract mixed-media art in series, this is the third of the series titled- Imaginative Settlement III. I enjoy exploring my ideas in series because one painting will not be enough to exhaust the whole idea, as I paint in series exploring an idea I am able to understand the idea, learn from the idea and be totally gratify from the outcome.

In addition, the more I research on a concept it gives birth to new ideas, it’s endless. A concept or vision comes with it’s problems, once it is solved and the concept is realized. The imaginative/creative abilities is expounded, inspiring the mind to create new ideas.

Imaginative Settlement II

The mixed-media painting is titled- Imaginative Settlement II, it is a flow from my previous work. Abstraction is the perfect way to express myself and a path towards sincerity of expression. If i paint nature, object the way it is seen I will be nothing but a copycat and far from being an inventor. I constantly pay attention to the way the eye’s of my mind see’s things and I try to represent it truthfully.

A feeling to Evolve

I am searching for words to describe the idea and feelings that flow through my mind as i create the art but the words are not forthcoming and I have to put words together on this intellectual expression. The art is experimental, it is a feeling to evolve, to deviate a little from my traditional way of expression and to push myself into designing something different, new, fresh and raw.

An Episode In Green.

An Episode In Green. This is my last series of mixed-media painting in episodes. “Green is the prime colour of the world & that from which it’s loveliness arises” Pedro Calderon del la Barca. Green is the colour of nature & health, it represents growth, nature, money, fertility and safety. Its a relaxing colour that is pleasing to the eye and is said to have healing power. From the words of Ray Kroc, as long as you are green, you’re growing, as soon as you are ripe, you start to rot.

According to Martin Luther, for in the true nature of things, if we rightly consider every green tree is far more glorious than if it were made of gold and silver. As a combination of the colour yellow & the colour blue, the colour green gets its mental clarity and optimism from yellow colour, with the emotional tranquility and insight from the blue colour. Green gives more hope than any other colour.

From a colour psychology perspective, it’s the colour green, that puts hearts and emotions in balance and equal head and heart. The green colour is an emotional positive colour, which gives us the ability to love and care for ourselves & other unconditionally.

An Episode In Blues.

The Blue colours- tranquillity, serene, cool, essentially atmospheric, it evoke impression of expanse and distance and boundlessness. Spiritually it symbolises sincerity, hope and serenity.
An Episode in Blues, is the title of this sensational mixed-media painting on canvas, the prime focus of this invention are the dynamic up & down, twist movement that evoke the mind to create imaginary imagery in blues.

An Episode In Red

I call this art- An Episode In Red. I do have a hard time creating with just a hue, this should be my first painting in one hue. I always feel inventing a piece of aesthetic with just one colour is not enough, a feeling of limitation keeps revolving inside of me, the impel to introduce other colours strikes my mind. Because the language of a painter is Hues.

Red, Red, Red, a very symbolic hue that has the greatest power of attraction, it expresses warmness, life, hope, danger, sex, emotions, passion, vitality……. Amongst all the characteristics of red listed, the above mixed-media painting is an interpretation of deep passion & vitality from my inner being.
